On the night of July 25, 1992, in Imus, Cavite, a baby boy was officially added to the Philippine population. His parents has given him the name “Rob Jeremiah”, carrying their family name “Nuguid”. He grew up to be an ordinary boy, with no special attributes to be considered extraordinary. He is celebrating his 16th Birthday today…
It’s me!
When I woke up at about 3:00 AM this day, my grandmother was the first to greet me. I almost forgot that this day is an important one, because this day signals the 16th anniversary of my first breath. And for this special day, I want to share my birthday wishes with you. Here it goes:
I want to have:
- A long life (Well, I mean longer).
- A book entitled “A B N K K B S N P L A K O” (I learned from my classmate that this book is an inspiration for students).
- A good day ahead (Actually, it’s been good because we went to Fort Santiago, and I enjoyed the experience).
- A medicine for my coughs and colds (I have been suffering for months).
- A day-off from school (Thank God it’s Saturday tomorrow).
- A new issue of Reader’s Digest and Discovery Channel Magazine.
- A new post for my blog (That’s why I’m doing this).
- A haircut (and a new hairstyle too).
- An attitude change for all my bad traits.
- A simple birthday party with my family.
- A conversation with my younger brother,and two grandfathers (If only God will permit).
- A new primary photo in Friendster (My current photo has been displayed for months).
- Good results for my Midterm Examinations (Help me pray).
- A GWA of 1.85 or better with a grade of 2.00 or better in English and College Algebra (I am keeing my fingers crossed).
- World Peace (Heal the world, make it a better place).
