Alay Lakad

Last Sunday (Sept. 7, 2008), I joined the Alay Lakad 2008 together with my fellow PLMayers and college students. This is done annually and it intends to help others. A sponsor donates to a beneficiary and in turn, students walk as a sign of their participation. These are some of the pictures taken during that event:

P.S. Sorry for the late post. I’ve been busy this week

A Waste of Time

I have to confess: I did not make good use of my time this day. Instead of studying for school, I spent hours staring at the computer screen, wondering what to do. I visited a few sites and tried to reconstruct the appearance of my blog. I somehow succeeded.

I also finished the task of reading “Digital Fortress” by Dan Brown. He never failed to surprise me at the end of the novel. I finished it the moment I woke up.

I am supposed to study right now. But apparently, I’m blogging right at this very moment, sharing my thoughts to anyone who’d read this. I admit that this day is one of the most unproductive days in my life. I need a reason to change my habit of wasting time doing not-so-important things.

There’s a lot of things to do. There are tons of them. I hope I can finish them all and go through this smoothly.

Motto for the Day: “It’s how you deal with your problems that determines your character.”

Ati-atihan Memoirs

I promised everyone last Aug. 11, 2008 on my post “Ati-atihan Festival” that I’ll be posting  pictures when I go online. So here it is, my one and only picture on that day:

Ati-atihan

P.S. I replaced my old primary photo in Friendster with this one.

Somewhere Nowhere

I’ve changed my Blog Title. From “Journey in Words”, I made it “Somewhere Nowhere”, although my heading still reads “Journey in Words”.

Why “Somewhere Nowhere”?

Because I’m lost – lost for words, actions, thoughts, everything. My mind floats somewhere nowhere. Currently, I’m in the state of searching for my true identity while doing my duty as a human.

If, and only if, we have met in a bar, we would have a good time together. But in reality, we were in a battle field. In the middle of a war. I killed him just as he tried to kill me.I  shot him dead simply because he’s on the opposite side. He’s my enemy and I can do nothing about it. Probably he’s just like me who decided to fight in a war to earn a living. War is strange: you end a friendship without even starting it, just like killing a chick without even letting it hatch.

I’m lost. Give me a map. Promise me you will.

Offline. AGAIN

Hello everyone! It’s been a long time since I posted here. Tons of school work make it impossible for me to blog daily. I’ll try to update later. In the meantime, I’ll be off. Just track me here anytime you can:

P.S. I’m currently reading Digital Fortress by Dan Brown.
